Safety Manager at Brigade Safety
Brigade Safety is currently seeking a Safety Manager to join our team and contribute to our “Positive Approach to Safety” philosophy. As a Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with continuous safety improvement for construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. This position requires a typical schedule of 40-50 hours per week, with occasional Saturdays required.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and promote a proactive and positive safety culture on construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective safety plans and programs.
- Provide safety training and orientation to new employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest safety regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
- 3-5 years of relevant safety experience, preferably in construction.
- Strong knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, and confined space procedures.
- Possession of at least one of the following certifications: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CSS, CSST, CHST, CSHO, or similar credentials.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Brigade Safety is currently seeking a Security Officer to join our team and contribute to our “Positive Approach to Safety” philosophy. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with continuous safety improvement for construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. This position requires a typical schedule of 40-50 hours per week, with occasional weekends required.
Security Officer Job Responsibilities:Â
- Presents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informs violators of policy and procedures.
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
- Controls traffic by directing drivers.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Interviews witnesses and obtains signatures as needed.
- Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant safety experience, preferably in construction.
